On a Mission for Families

On a Mission for Families is an event created for the enjoyment of currently serving military families and their children. It’s day of fun-filled family oriented activities that will bring joy and happiness to the entire family. This event is an opportunity for the local community to show their support and gratitude for the men and women who are serving our country.

Mission Statement

"On a Mission For Families" is designed to show appreciation for military families, recognize their sacrifices, and provide an event in which they can connect and offer support for one another.”

Information for the 2013 Event

On a Mission for Families has partnered with the USO of Wisconsin to host a family day for an area unit that has deployment orders. A private event is being planned in an effort to provide an opportunity for the soldiers and their families to spend an evening together prior to their deployment. Due to our commitment to the deploying unit, there will not be a summer festival for 2013.

USAR 372nd ENGINEERING COMPANY PRE-DEPLOYMENT FAMILY EVENT

 

On Thursday, May 2, 2013 On a Mission for Families Inc, partnered with the USO-Wisconsin sponsored a pre-deployment family event for the United States Army Reserve 372nd Engineering Company and their families. The Radisson Milwaukee North Shore hosted the event.

During the event, volunteer Tracy A. Theurich York wrote the following addressed to the 372nd :

“Thank you to the brave men and women of our armed forces of the United States. You are selfless and brave, strong and courageous; you give so much to your country to keep it safe. It is a pleasure, honor, and rightful duty to say a heartfelt Thank you.”
